About the Artist
ARTIST STATEMENT
My practice centers on the creation of Bokeshi Dolls, one-of-a-kind sculptural dolls born from upcycled glass bottles and reclaimed materials. At the intersection of environmental consciousness and intuitive craftsmanship, I transform discarded objects into artworks adorned with crystals, beads, and textiles.

In a world driven by urgency and noise, my work embodies a quiet commitment to slow art. I approach each piece without imposing a predetermined design; instead, I listen to the material. I am allowing the glass, fabric, and found elements to guide the process. This meditative practice is an exercise in patience and presence, demonstrating that when we release haste, the most profound creations emerge naturally. Each Bokeshi Doll reflects themes of transformation, sustainability, and the power of reinvention.
